Vehicle Compatibility

JET Rack® is designed to be compatible with all common van makes and models. Because the system mounts to strut channel, it can be positioned to suit a wide range of vans, from compact city vans through to long wheelbase and high-roof vehicles. This flexibility also means JET Rack® can be transferred when you change vans, rather than being locked to a single vehicle.

Ladder Compatibility

In most cases, standard fibreglass A-frame stepladders are compatible. If you are unsure, send us your ladder details and we will confirm.

What ladders work best

  • Fibreglass stepladders (commonly 3–10 tread)
  • Little Giant King Kombo stepladders
  • Ladders must have a stable top section with a hole to hook JET Rack® through
  • Models that can be stored with the ladder closed
The key measurement is the ladder’s closed length (end-to-end), not its open working height.

Incompatible ladder types

  • Triple extension ladders
  • Henchman tripod-style ladders
  • Telescopic ladders

If your ladder is unusual, we can normally confirm fitment quickly with measurements and a photo.

  • Ladder brand & model (if known)
  • Closed length (end-to-end)
  • Approximate width at the widest point
  • Van make/model (and roof height if known)
  • One clear photo of the ladder closed
