These Terms of Service apply to your use of jetrack.co.uk and to products purchased directly from JET Rack® UK.

Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, specifications and prices are accurate.

Minor variations in appearance, packaging or components may occur where these do not materially alter the product's purpose, quality or functionality.

JET Rack® is designed primarily for compatible A-frame stepladders with a suitable tool hole in the top plate. Customers should check ladder compatibility before ordering where uncertain.

Vehicle and installation compatibility

JET Rack® is not vehicle-specific.

Installation requires a secure overhead mounting location capable of supporting suitable strut channel and the installed system.

JET Rack may also be installed in other suitable applications such as hard-top pick-up canopies, garages, workshops and storage areas.

The suitability and strength of the mounting structure must be assessed before installation.

Strut channel is not included

JET Rack® requires 41 × 21/22 mm shallow strut channel, commonly known as Unistrut.

The strut channel is not supplied with JET Rack and must be sourced separately by the customer.

The official installation instructions describe shallow 41 × 22 mm strut as the recommended profile and explain that compatible strut is widely available through building and electrical suppliers.

Universal Mounting Kit

The JET Rack® Universal Mounting Kit is an optional accessory.

It is intended to make it easier to create a suitable mounting point for the strut channel in installations where a straightforward fixing point is not already available. The mounting-kit instructions describe the plates as formable for suitable surfaces in vans, truck caps, trailers and storage spaces.

The Universal Mounting Kit is not required for every installation.

Installation and safe use

JET Rack must be installed and used in accordance with the installation/owner's manual.

The customer or installer is responsible for ensuring that:

• the mounting structure is suitable;
• the strut channel is securely attached;
• appropriate fasteners are used;
• all JET Rack components are correctly installed and adjusted;
• adequate clearance is provided;
• the supplied safety strap is used as instructed; and
• the system is inspected and maintained appropriately.

JET Rack must not be installed in a passenger compartment and people must not sit or remain underneath or near the stored ladder while travelling.

If you are unsure about any part of the installation, stop and seek appropriate technical assistance before using the product.

Prices and payment

Prices displayed on our UK website include applicable UK VAT where stated. International orders will not include UK VAT, but may be liable to import duties and VAT for the destination country.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout unless expressly included in the advertised price.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect an order already accepted by us.

Orders

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example:

• payment cannot be authorised;
• a product is unavailable;
• there is an obvious pricing or website error;
• we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse; or
• delivery cannot reasonably be completed to the supplied destination.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the amount paid for the cancelled goods will be refunded.

Delivery

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy.

International customers are responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes and other charges which have not been collected by us at checkout.

Returns

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.

Our 30-day money-back guarantee is an additional benefit and does not restrict statutory consumer rights.

Warranty

JET Rack® products are supplied subject to our Lifetime Warranty Policy.

The Lifetime Warranty is additional to any statutory rights.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or attempts to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For UK consumers, goods must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law and statutory remedies remain available regardless of any separate commercial warranty.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from:

• installation contrary to supplied instructions;
• an unsuitable or inadequately secured mounting structure;
• third-party strut channel, fixings or equipment;
• use with an incompatible ladder;
• unauthorised modification;
• failure to inspect or maintain the system; or
• use contrary to product warnings and safety instructions,

to the extent that the loss or damage was caused by those circumstances.

Intellectual property

JET Rack®, associated logos, website content, photographs, graphics and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners and may not be reproduced, republished or commercially exploited without permission.

Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites.

Changes

We may update these Terms periodically.

Changes will apply from the date the revised Terms are published and will not retrospectively alter the terms applicable to an already accepted order unless required by law or agreed with you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your place of residence.
