The JET Rack® Universal Mounting Kit is an optional accessory designed to make mounting the strut channel for your JET Rack installation quicker and more straightforward.
JET Rack can be installed using a variety of suitable fixing methods, so the Universal Mounting Kit is not required for every installation. Where a straightforward mounting point isn’t already available, however, the kit provides a versatile way to create a secure fixing point for your strut channel.
The formable mounting plates can be shaped around suitable structural surfaces in vans, hard-top pick-up canopies, trailers, workshops and other storage spaces. The plates can be bent, formed or trimmed where necessary to achieve a close fit to the mounting structure.
Once the mounting plates are secured, your strut channel bolts directly to them before the JET Rack system is installed.

Strut channel / Unistrut is not included with the Universal Mounting Kit.
JET Rack uses shallow 41 × 21 mm strut channel, which must be sourced separately.
Installation
Installation involves positioning the mounting plates against a suitable structural surface, forming them to achieve a secure fit, fixing the plates in place and then attaching the strut channel to the integrated mounting points.

Which ladders are compatible with JET Rack?
JET Rack is designed for A-frame stepladders with a suitable tool hole in the top plate, including the fibreglass stepladders commonly used by electricians and other trades.
Also compatible: Little Giant King Kombo.
Not compatible: triple-extension ladders, Henchman-style ladders, multi-position ladders or similar extension-ladder designs.

JET Rack isn't vehicle-specific. If you can securely mount a suitable length of 41 × 21 mm strut channel (commonly known as Unistrut) overhead and have sufficient clearance for your ladder, you can install JET Rack.
It can also be installed in suitable hard-top pick-up canopies, garages, workshops and other storage spaces.
